One of the many benefits at UT is the Educational Assistance Program. If you are regular full-time faculty or staff, you may enroll without payment of fees to take up to 9 credit hours per term of undergraduate and graduate classes at any UT campus. Regular part-time faculty or staff working at least 50 percent time may also enroll without payment of fees based on their percentage of time.
The first step is to complete an admissions application and register for class. The experts in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions—at 320 Student Services Building or online—can provide you with the information you will need to get admitted and registered for undergraduate classes. For graduate classes, get in touch with the Office of Graduate Admissions, 201 Student Services building or online. Once you’ve registered, you can complete a UT fee waiver form.
Fee waivers also are offered for any Tennessee Board of Regents Institution. As a regular full-time employee, you are eligible for a waiver of fees for one course per credit term at any state-supported college, university, or area vocational-technical school.
