The staff of the Knoxville campus Human Resources office has moved to 105 Student Services Building in Circle Park, in close proximity to Andy Holt Tower, the Communications Building, and the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture.
“This move represents the chancellor’s and HR’s ongoing commitment to provide great customer service to the staff and faculty,” said Linda Hendricks Harig, vice chancellor for human resources. “UT Knoxville’s employees can more easily come to us, and we can go to them as well.”
The four units of the Knoxville-area HR offices are moving to the space: recruitment, compensation, employee relations, and employee records.
HR’s new space is the former home of the Institute for Public Service, which recently moved to a new building on University Avenue.
All Human Resources offices phone numbers are the same. Their office is accessible from Circle Park Drive or staff lot 30 near the entrance of Andy Holt Tower.
HR’s previous space in the UT Conference Center on Henley Street will soon be home to the UT System Benefits and Retirement office, which currently is on a lower floor of the Conference Center. The Employee and Organizational Development office will remain on the second floor of the Conference Center.
New employee orientation will continue to be held in the conference center.
The Hill and Fort T bus routes serve the Circle Park area.
An open house will be held after everyone is settled into the new office.
