Director, Environmental Health & Safety

Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Public Safety, the Director is expected to lead the operational management of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) department employees an operating budget. The Director will provide leadership and direction in the planning, development, budgetary, implementation and evaluation of the University’s EHS programs. The Director oversees the following functional units: occupational health safety, laboratory safety, radiation safety, industrial worker safety, environmental programs, and fire and life safety. Candidates should bring a history of successful leadership and management.

Chief Campus Compliance Officer

Reporting jointly to the Chancellor of UTK and the Chief Audit and Compliance Officer at the UT System, the Chief Campus Compliance Officer (CCCO) will join the campus leadership team and lead the development, implementation, operation and oversight of a university-wide compliance and ethics program. The Campus Compliance Offices operates in a highly decentralized environment, requiring the CCCO to provide overall strategic oversight and coordination of UTK’s compliance efforts and deliver high-level oversight of efforts of existing office, division, college, and departmental/unit compliance programs.

Associate Vice Chancellor, Business & Finance, UT Institute of Agriculture

Reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor/Senior Vice President of the UT Institute of Agriculture (UTIA), the Associate Vice Chancellor for Business & Finance will lead the vision and direction for financial services and uphold the vision, mission and values of the UT Institute of Agriculture. UTIA serves all of Tennessee’s 95 counties including staff, research and education centers, 4-H camps and programs. UTIA is critical to the success of the University of Tennessee Knoxville’s land-grant mission and the ideal candidate will bring an understanding of the human impact of decisions made by budget and finance leadership.
