Revised Orientation Process – Response To COVID-19

Welcome to the University of Tennessee! We are so glad that you have joined our Volunteer Family! In compliance with the actions/procedures currently being implemented by the university in response to COVID-19, including social distancing and telecommuting, we have revised our New Employee Orientation process for all new hires joining the university. Our HR Recruiting Business Partners will now be coordinating with their respective departments to provide NEO folders, benefits information packets, and required paperwork to all new hires upon their initial date of hire. Our entire HR Team is committed to serving our new and existing employees and remains prepared to provide our new hires with important information needed to ensure that their transition within the University of Tennessee is as comfortable and seamless as possible.

Below is some helpful information regarding your Revised New Employee Orientation process. Please review this important information thoroughly and feel free to contact a member of Human Resources at 865-974-6642 with any questions.

New Employee Orientation Presentation

If you are a newly hired employee, please complete the following forms. After the forms have been completed, you may submit all of the forms by using the UT Secure Emailing Vault System except for the I-9 and Direct Deposit. The recruiter will work with you on completion of the I-9 and Direct Deposit form.

Failure to present required documents on your first day may make you ineligible to begin work.
