Temporary Help Pool Employee Procedures

To help both departments and Temporary Help Pool employees receive the maximum benefits from the Temporary Help Pool, please follow these procedures. Download this information as a printable PDF.

Timesheets

Timesheets may be accessed online. Timesheets must be completed and signed by the departmental requestor/supervisor before they can be processed and the employee paid. All completed timesheets must be submitted to the THP email account: thp@utk.edu by the dates designated on the Pay Schedule below. Temporary Help Pool employees are responsible for their own timesheets.

Paychecks

The University of Tennessee Payroll Office prefers that all employees participate in Direct Deposit or a First Horizon (formerly First Tennessee) PayCard to receive paychecks. Direct Deposit forms may be picked up and completed in Recruitment located at: 105 Student Services Building or by emailing the Payroll Office at: payroll@tennessee.edu.

Additional information below:

If an employee elects not to enroll for Direct Deposit or a First Horizon PayCard, paychecks will be mailed to the employee’s home address on file.

Parking

Temporary Help Pool employees may purchase a temporary parking pass from Parking Services in order to park on campus. To obtain a parking memorandum, please contact THP at 974-6642 (choose #4 for Recruitment), they will prepare the memo and schedule a time for you to pick it up.
