Brooke Swart (she/her) joined UT System Human Resources in 2016 as an associate executive recruiter. She moved to UT Knoxville Human Resources in 2018 and serves as a senior executive recruiter. In this role, Brooke is responsible for leading and providing full-service and tailored leadership search services and support to campus partners. Brooke earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from UT Knoxville and holds her PHR certification.

Anthony Lanaganjoined UTK’s Human Resources Office in February 2022, bringing over five years of experience in higher education, with a focus on enrollment management and recruiting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication, an MBA from King University, and several professional certifications, including a Lean Green Belt from UT’s Haslam College of Business. Anthony is dedicated to strengthening UTK’s workforce and fostering a culture of excellence, with a passion for connecting top talent to the university’s mission. In this role, Anthony also oversees the Dual Career Program, which supports spouses and partners of newly hired UTK employees by helping them find job opportunities within the university and connecting them with resources in the surrounding counties.
