Call Human Resources today for coaching on recognition!
Service Awards are designed to recognize our regular faculty and staff for their dedicated service to the university. Employees reaching five years of service will receive a certificate in a Lucite frame and a lapel pin with the UT seal. Further awards are provided in five-year increments beginning with the tenth year of regular service. You will be contacted by our service award provider around the time of your service anniversary date to select an award.
Employees with more than 25 years of service are invited to either a fall or spring service awards luncheon hosted by the president. The luncheon date depends on an employee’s anniversary dates. January through June recipients will be honored at a spring luncheon and July through December recipients will be honored at a fall luncheon. Honorees are invited at five-year increments beginning with the 25th year of service.
Employees with 50 or more years of service will receive the Joe Johnson Lifetime Achievement Award. This special award is presented at the luncheon by the president.
