Career Gateway Submitting Time Worked

Hours worked must be entered into the Career Gateway Time Entry system. Hours can be entered daily and saved. At the end of the pay period, the timesheet must be submitted electronically for departmental requestor/supervisor approval in order to be processed and the employee paid. Please view the Pay Schedule for time entry deadlines. Career Gateway employees are responsible for submitting their own time.

Direct Deposit Instructions

Prior to completing the Direct Deposit form, you will need to visit https://oit.utk.edu/accounts/2fa.  Here you will sign up for two-factor authentication.  Click on the tab labeled “Sign up for two-factor” and follow the prompts.  Once complete, visit https://directdeposit.tennessee.edu/ (you will need your NETID and password) to complete The University of Tennessee/Payroll Office Authorization Agreement for Direct Deposit, authorize, then click submit. You will be required to upload a picture or pdf of a cancelled check or letter from your financial institution verifying your account information.

Parking

Career Gateway employees will be required to purchase a temporary parking pass on their first day of employment from Parking & Transit Services in order to park on campus. If you did not receive the parking memorandum, please contact the Career Gateway specialist at careergateway@utk.edu.  They will prepare the parking memorandum and schedule a time for you to pick it up or email it to you.
