Background Check Requests

Background check requests for candidates considered for non-faculty temporary positions should be requested through our automated system.

Background check requests for faculty should be submitted through UTK Faculty Affairs.

You will need the candidate’s first name, last name and email address to submit your request. Human Resources will upload the requests to the background check company daily. After a request is uploaded, the candidate will receive an email from applicationstation@truescreen.com with a request to complete an electronic consent.

The requestor will receive an automatic notification once the background check has been completed.
